VR/XR Engineer

We are looking for a software developer for our VR team. The team is young, so rapid development and prototyping is the norm. Our immediate aim is to create a dynamically-loading infinitely-scalable VR environment.

Responsibilities:

• Creating new and improving existing VR application features.
• Working with run-time mesh and texture data.
• Optimizing memory & CPU usage.
• Developing integrations with AWS, DBs & other platforms.

Requirements:

• 2+ years of Unity development experience.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
• Knowledgeable about asynchronous C# code.
• Proficient in Git version control.
• Prior familiarity with memory/CPU/GPU optimizations.
• Personal Meta Quest headset is an advantage.

Preferred skills:

• Experience with different geo location formats, map tiles, 3D tiles (b3dm).
• Experience with netcode, VR development.
